Whether you are an active holiday maker or simply wish to relax in our comfortable conservatory or garden, a warm friendly welcome awaits you at Carsfad Cottage.
Built in 1937 by the Galloway Water Power Company, Carsfad Cottage was the Station Attendants house for Carsfad Power Station, part of the Galloway Hydro Electric Scheme. The garden wall is actually part of the dam and we enjoy stunning views over Carsfad Loch to the Carsphairn hills and down the upper Ken Valley towards Earlstoun Loch and St John's Town of Dalry.
